Haymaker (つきあげる, Tsukiageru?), also known as Hay Maker, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. In all of its appearances prior to Final Fantasy XIV, it has only appeared as an enemy ability ability. It is a non-elemental, powerful, physical attack usually used by larger-sized enemies.

Final Fantasy XIV

Delivers a melee attack. Can only be used immediately after evading an attack. Chance to inflict Stun.
Haymaker was a physical attack usable by the Pugilist class unlocked at level 10. It was usable immediately after evading an attack. It damaged opponent with a potency of 170 and inflicts Slow +20% for 12 seconds. As of the release of Stormblood, Haymaker was removed from the Pugilist's abilities.
In the Forbidden Land Eureka, the action re-emerged as Haymaker L. It shares the original properties of Haymaker, but is only usable inside of Eureka.
