Increases party's speed while being performed.

Final Fantasy V description

Hastemarch (素早さの歌, Subayasa no Uta?), also known as March, Swift Song, and Swift Shanty, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is used with Sing and increases the Speed of the party, sometimes simply boosting their raw Speed, other times by bestowing Haste status on them.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Final Fantasy IV[edit | edit source]

Hastemarch is a Bardsong usable by Edward in the 3D releases, and by any party member when they use the Bardsong Augment. Hastemarch casts Haste on the party, and the singer must be at level 40 or higher to use it.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[edit | edit source]

Hastemarch is usable by Edward at any level randomly though his Bardsong command, and casts Haste on the target party member(s).

Final Fantasy V[edit | edit source]

Swift Song is used by the Sing command, learned by the Bard. It increases the party's Speed. Swift Song can be learned in Castle Surgate, in Xezat's Chambers.

Final Fantasy Dimensions[edit | edit source]
