Hand Axe (ハンドアクス, Hando Akusu?), also known as Handaxe or HandAxe, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is generally one of the weakest axes in the game for the player to obtain, and has low attack power in comparison to all other axes, but moderate power compared to all other starting weapons.

Description
Hand Axe is a dummied weapon which provides 35 attack, 30 accuracy, and +3 Strength. It would have been used by Cecil, Kain, and Cid. This weapon is metallic.
In the Easy Type version, it was renamed to Axe.
Final Fantasy XII[]
Handaxe is the weakest axe, providing 47 attack, 6% combo rate, and 6 Evade. It requires the Axes & Hammers 1 License to equip, and can be bought for 2,200 gil at Rabanastre.
In the Zodiac versions, it now provides 17 Attack, 6 Evade, 29 CT, 6% combo rate, and requires the Axes & Hammers 1 license for 20 LP. It can be bought in Rabanastre, Giza Plains - The Dry and Barheim Passage for 420 gil, found as a treasure in Dalmasca Estersand (Banks of the Nebra), or stolen from Steeling in the Lhusu Mines (3%).
