Hagakure

Hagakure (ハガクレの里, Hagakure no Sato?) is a location in Final Fantasy Dimensions. It's located to the south of Moonlight Wood. The village is rarely visited by travelers.

Story

The Warriors of Darkness visits this village after leaving Gardenia to seek the Fuga order, a group of Ninjas. They ask the village elder about the group but he doesn't know about it. The elder's son cuts in on the conversation and asks them what they want with Fuga order. The elder apologizes for his son and warns he warriors to stay away from Moonlight Wood.

Etymology

[view · edit · purge]Hagakure (葉隱, Hagakure?, lit. Hidden by the leaves) is a spiritual code and guide for warriors, based on the writings of the samurai Yamamoto Tsunetomo. It was written about a hundred years after Hideyoshi Toyotomi's unification of Japan; as such, the way of the warrior was bowing out to a more administrative and bureaucratic role within society.
