H'mhasi Tia is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy XIV. He is the Missing Member's head chef and winner of the previous edition of Dellemont d'Or.

History[]

Due to his arrogant H'mhasi Tia personality, Melkoko Melko asked the Warrior of Light to join Dellemont d'Or to defeat H'mhasi Tia and put him in his place. As soon as Master Dellemont arrived at Bismarck, H'mhasi Tia and Melkoko paid their respects to him. The pair ended up arguing, culminating in a bet. Although she had no right to do so, Melkoko agreed to relinquish Bismarck's ownership to H'mhasi Tia should he win at Dellemont d'Or. If H'mhasi Tia lost, he must give up being a culinarian.

During the contest, Dellemont gave the Warrior of Light a perfect ten, the first in the history of the contest and a point above H'mhasi Tia's nine. Dellemont took a moment to explain his assessments. While H'mhasi Tia's creations were magnificent, they lacked the spirit of hospitality. H'mhasi admitted defeat and fled in disarray and Melkoko followed him. Melkoko and H'mhasi Tia made peace and it was revealed that H'mhasi Tia's apparent arrogance was an act of posture, and he was training hard for the contest in secret. With Rhoswen's permission, he decided to travel across the kingdom to become a great culinary artist like the Warrior of Light, and Melkoko promised to wait for him.

Appearance[]

H'mhasi is a Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te with blond hair and dark orange eyes. He wears Augmented Galleykeep's Whites, Augmented Galleykeep's Gloves, Augmented Galleykeep's Trousers, and Augmented Galleykeep's Top Boots.

Personality[]

H'mhasi is considered arrogant due to him winning the previous cooking contest. This is especially shown when he is considering how to react when he wins the competition a second time before it even starts. He taunts his cooking rivals and shows his uncaring attitude to seem like his skills are effortless.
