It is a short-tailed, panther-like canine with a whip-like projection sticking from its back encountered in the Sector 1, and in the north section of the Train Graveyard soon after. It is also a possible encounter in the opening round of the Battle Square before obtaining the Tiny Bronco. In the Battle Square it has enhanced stats with double the normal HP and 25% higher Attack and Magic Attack.
It always uses its two attacks on the character who has the lowest current HP. Despite this, it is not a strong enemy and should not prove to be much of a problem.
