Guard (ガード or 警備兵 or 警備員 or 親衛隊員, Gādo or Keibi-hei or Keibi-in or Shin'eitai-in?, lit. Guard or Security Guard), also known as MP, Sentry, and Trooper, is a recurring enemy in the series.

Guards sworn to protect the coal mines of Narshe. Watch out for the occasional Critical attack.

Guard is an enemy fought at Narshe during the start of the game. They are very weak foes and are easily dispatched.

MP is an enemy fought at Sector 1 Reactor. They are amongst the weakest enemies in the game, easily one-shotted from any attack thrown at them.

Sentry is an enemy fought at the very beginning of the game as well as during the very first mission of the game. They are the weakest enemy in the game and provide no challenge to the player.

Trooper (abbr. Tpr) from the French "troupier" is the equivalent rank to private in a regiment with a cavalry tradition in the British Army and many other Commonwealth armies, including those of Australia, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand.
