Group is a term used in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. A group consists of a group leader, who is always a main playable character, and his/her Yarhi.
In Missions, as many as five Groups can enter battle, each consisting of as many as eight Espers. New Espers can only be summoned once an old unit has been defeated in battle. Many abilities in this game make use of groups, such as Basch's Quickening Apocalypse Shield or Filo's Overdrive ability.
