Grenade Bomb (グレネードボム, Gurenēdo Bomu?), also known as Fire in the Hole, is a recurring ability in the series.

Final Fantasy VII[edit | edit source]

Grenade Bomb is a Limit Level 2 ability for Barret, obtained after killing 80 enemies while in Limit Level 1. It inflicts non-elemental damage to all enemies equal to 338 times normal damage if there is only a single target, less if there are more enemies.

Final Fantasy VII Remake[edit | edit source]

Fire in the Hole.

Fire in the Hole is Barret's default Limit Break. Despite sharing a name with Grenade Bomb in Japanese, it resembles Barret's Big Shot in animation.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[edit | edit source]

Grenade Bomb is a ground physical Bravery attack for Laguna, obtained at the start of the game. It requires 30 CP to equip (15 when mastered), 90 AP to master, and has Ranged Low priority. Laguna tosses a grenade that explodes on contact, and Can tap Circle up to two additional times to boost distance.
