The Green Slime (グリーンスライム, Gurīnsuraimu?), also known as the Slime or SCUM, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in the original Final Fantasy. It generally has exceptionally high physical defenses, making magic the preferred method of defeating it. While not physically strong, it can inflict the Poison status when attacking. It is typically the weakest variety of flan.

The Green Slime, also known as the SCUM, appears as an enemy encountered in the Marsh Cave, boasting exceptionally high Defense and attacking with a regular physical attack that can inflict Poison on hit. It tends to appear in groups with other Green Slimes.
Final Fantasy II[]
The Green Slime appears as an enemy encountered in Semitt Falls, and once again boast exceptionally high physical defenses. It can inflict the Venom status when attacking.
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest[]
The Slime appears as an enemy encountered in Level Forest, coming with Auto-Reflect and attacking with the physical attack Stab and Poison-inducing Hydro Acid.
Final Fantasy Adventure[]
