Chel Groms, from War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, is a Green Mage.
The Green Mage (緑魔道士, Midori Madōshi?, lit. Green Sorcerer) is a recurring job in the series. The job originates from the Ivalice entries, but has occasionally appeared outside of the subseries.
Profile[]
As the name suggest, Green Mages specialize in Green Magicks/Magics, which are a school of spells that specialize in buffing allies and debuffing enemies. Spells often associated with Green Mages are Protect, Blind, and the Bar-Spells.
Green Mages are a fairly new job in the series, while Green Mages are mentioned in the world of Final Fantasy XII, players are only able to use Green Magicks. Despite adding a job system in the Zodiac versions of the game, it was still not a playable job, with Green Magicks being relegated to be a secondary magick command usable by all mage jobs. The job did not make a formal appearance until Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift as a Viera job.
