The Green Chocobo is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It can be recruited for use in the Paradigm Pack as a Medic, and in the chocobo races in Serendipity.
Stats[]
Battle[]
The Green Chocobo can inflict Debrave and Defaith with Supersonic Wave, and buff itself with Protect and Shell. If the battle takes too long, it will flee by using Choco Dash.
Strategy[]
A good tip is to pay attention to the chocobo's movements in battle, as right before they flee they will turn around and shake their rear. As soon as the player spots this, they can press and redo the battle, as it is often faster than waiting for another one to spawn.
Paradigm Pack[]
The Green Chocobo is a Medic that learns every Medic ability a monster is capable of learning, except for Esuna and Esunada (as Curaja is a hidden ability), and learns its abilities early on in its development. Its Improved Cure and Critical: Faith passive abilities allow it to boost its healing capabilities considerably.
Its stat growth is linear for a Late Bloomer, allowing the player to make good use of the Green Chocobo even in its early stages, although it does not possess particularly high stats at level 99 like other chocobos do, meaning it is not the best choice to go racing in Serendipity.
Because of the racing minigame a player with one Green Chocobo and its crystal may obtain another Green Chocobo crystal; this is true of the other colors also. All other tameable monsters are limited to one each.

Etymology[]
(チョコボール, Chokobōru?). The mascot for this product is Kyoro-chan (キョロちゃん?), a bird who says "kweh".
The name "chocobo" derives from a Japanese brand of chocolate malt ball by Morinaga, ChocoBall食う / くう / kuu is a rough way to say "eat", whose volitional casual form is 食え / くえ / kue ("let's scoff 'em down!"), leading to Kweh!
