Template:Sideicon The Great Dragon is an enemy in the Advance and subsequent versions of Final Fantasy VI, and a more powerful version of the Dragon enemy.
Stats
Battle
It uses Fire-based attacks like Atomic Rays and Blaze, and can use Snort to blow party members out of the battle. When it dies, it may cast the Quake spell as a final attack. Devastate is its most powerful attack (deals 400% normal damage), usually killing its target. It is weak to Lightning. They rarely drop Dragon Horns, a rare relic.
Strategy
Thundaga spells are highly effective. Ultima can also be used to finish the dragon.
