Grand Mill Works (大風車工区, Ōkazaguruma Kōku?) is a location in Bravely Default and Bravely Second: End Layer, found in the city of Ancheim. It is only accessible at nighttime, after the awakening of the Wind Crystal restores of the flow of wind to the city. Through the Grand Mill Works, Ancheim Palace can also be accessed due to also being off limits at nighttime.

Bravely Default[edit | edit source]
After awakening the Wind Crystal, Agnès's party enters the Grand Mill Works so they can spy on Eloch Quentis Khamer VIII, Ancheim's king. After learning about his intentions thanks to them spying on him and Ciggma Khint having a conversation, the party fights them, killing both of them.

By arriving outside to the city of Ancheim, one can travel along a passageway leading secretly into Ancheim Palace. Here, the party battles Khint and Khamer for the first time and upon victory, they receive the Spell Fencer and Time Mage asterisks.
