The Gorgimera, also called Rhyos, is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI. It is found in the Cave on the Veldt; however, it is very rare.

Battle[]
Gorgimera uses various elemental attacks, such as Fireball, Snowstorm, Megavolt, and Magnitude 8 to name a few, but one of its most feared attacks is Flare Star.
It also has very high HP and no elemental weaknesses, but is vulnerable to stop; once stopped, the party should defeat the monster with their strongest attacks.
Coliseum setup[]
If the Paladin's Shield and/or Minerva Bustier are unavailable, the Thunder Shield should be used, since it nullifies Aero and reduces damage from Avalanche and Flare Star by 50%. The Snow Scarf is another alternative or addition to those, since it can absorb Ice-elemental damage and reduce Fire-elemental damage by 50%. As usual, the Kagenui can hit the Gorgimera's vulnerability to stop, if needed.
