− | Gold Needles are an effective way of gaining ABP |
+ | Gold Needles are an effective way of gaining ABP because they instantly kill the enemies in the basement of Bal Castle. This method also works on all stone based enemies, making it a somewhat limited, but still fairly useful trick to remember. |
− | In the Game Boy Advance version |
+ | In the Game Boy Advance version, Cannoneers can use Gold Needles with the Combine ability to create Needle Shot, Needle Burst, and Needle Cannon, respectively, each of which are based on 1000 Needles. Shot deals 1000 guaranteed damage, Burst deals 2000, and Cannon deals 3000. |

+ | Gold Needle cures Stone status from a party member. It can be bought from shops and found in outpost areas. Stone wears off quickly and makes one invulnerable for its duration, and thus players can simply wait out the status rather than use items to cure it. The Melusine battle is on a timer, however, and thus a stock of Gold Needles can come handy for that battle. |

Gold Needles are an effective way of gaining ABP because they instantly kill the enemies in the basement of Bal Castle. This method also works on all stone based enemies, making it a somewhat limited, but still fairly useful trick to remember.
In the Game Boy Advance version, Cannoneers can use Gold Needles with the Combine ability to create Needle Shot, Needle Burst, and Needle Cannon, respectively, each of which are based on 1000 Needles. Shot deals 1000 guaranteed damage, Burst deals 2000, and Cannon deals 3000.

Final Fantasy XV
A medical instrument that increases blood circulation and disples tension from the body. Cures petrification.
Description
Gold Needle cures Stone status from a party member. It can be bought from shops and found in outpost areas. Stone wears off quickly and makes one invulnerable for its duration, and thus players can simply wait out the status rather than use items to cure it. The Melusine battle is on a timer, however, and thus a stock of Gold Needles can come handy for that battle.
