The Goblin, also known as the IMP, is a small hooded creature that inhabits plains and grasslands around Cornelia and Pravoka in the original Final Fantasy. They attack with small curved knives and travel with Goblin Guards and Wolves. They are the weakest enemies of the game, besides the Pirates in Pravoka, with only 8 HP, and can be defeated with only one hit if the party is experienced in fighting. They are the first monsters introduced to the Warriors of Light.
