In-game Description
Gladiator (ć°ć©ćć£ćØć¼ćæć¼, GuradeiÄtÄ?) is a Job from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Only bangaa can become Gladiators after mastering two Warrior skills. Gladiators wield the powerful blades in combat and can also learn three different "Spell Blades" to deal damage. Along with those, they also have some Fighter skills to use as well. When raised right, Gladiators are very powerful and, when equipped with Strikeback, it is difficult to get in a hit.

Etymology
gladiator (Latin: gladiator, "swordsman", from gladius, "sword") was an armed combatant who entertained audiences in the Roman Republic and Roman Empire in violent confrontations with other gladiators, wild animals, and condemned criminals. Some gladiators were volunteers but most were slaves schooled under harsh conditions. Gladiators were celebrated in art, and it became a feature of politics and social life in the Roman world.
ATrivia
- Despite wielding one in their official artwork, Gladiators cannot naturally equip shields without the aid of the Warrior Job's support ability Shieldbearer.
