Etymology[]

Giza is the third biggest city in Egypt. It is possible that Giza Plains from Final Fantasy XII is based on the real Giza, because the real Giza is dry, just like the Giza Plains from Final Fantasy XII.

'Giza' in Arabic means 'brief', 'short', 'soon' or roughly 'temporary'.
