The Giant Warrior, also knows as the Armored Fiend or RedGiant, is an enemy in Final Fantasy IV. It can be found at the Lunar Subterrane and the Lair of the Father, as well as the Lunar Ruins optional dungeon in the GBA and PSP versions, and gives a large sum of EXP upon defeat.

The Giant Warrior is a weak enemy in terms of attack power, but has high HP and defenses. It will use Beam as a counter against magic, inflicting damage equal to one tenth of the target's maximum HP. The Giant Warrior can also use Flamethrower, which inflicts a deadly Fire-elemental to all party members. The most efficient way of defeating Giant Warriors is by using physical attacks and avoiding the use of magic.
