After receiving a certain amount of damage, they unleash a powerful synchronized attack, the Double Reaper. One absorbs lightning and fire, while the other absorbs water and ice.

Battle[edit | edit source]

Double Reaper.

Gemini always attack in pairs—one with a sword and the other with a club. They can use a synchronized combo called Double Reaper; the counter for Double Reaper increases by 1 the first time a Gemini is targeted, and 2 when targeted afterwards. Targeting a Gemini raises the counter for the other as well. Upon reaching 15, the Gemini will wait two turns before unleashing the attack, resetting the counter.

Against aeons, they will use only physical attacks, and this will also reset the Double Reaper counter. When Provoked, they will only use Leaping Swing. A Gemini can still use Double Reaper if the other is afflicted with Provoke or Sleep, though it won't act on that turn if both are afflicted.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Defeating each Gemini one at a time can prevent the Double Reaper attack. Using Armor Break or piercing weapons will be useful, as well as casting elemental magic (the Gemini with the sword absorbs Fire and Lightning, while the Gemini with the club absorbs Water and Ice). They are also vulnerable to Bio, which will inflict Poison and kill it quickly.
