The Garuda is a bonus boss from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. It fights identically to its incarnation in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, and thus can be defeated in the same manner. It will either fly at the player to damage, try to nosedive into the ground to damage and knock players off the arena, or blow players off the arena with a wind attack.

Its weak point is on top of its head, and the easiest way to reach it is to make the Garuda use the nosedive attack, move out of the way so as to not get damaged by it, and then jump on its head before it gets up. While on its head, it will continuously attempt to nosedive, and with the right timing, players can jump into the air and land right back on top of its head and continue the assault without having to worry about the rest of the fight. Like any other aerial creature, it is vulnerable when afflicted with Gravity.
