A princess who appears in tales of Gaia, a world foreign to this one. The most beautiful princess in Alexandria's history, her name was known far and wide. She felt sympathy and concern for the people of the kingdom, and was greatly pained by her mother Queen Brahne's unbending resolve in invading other countries. On her sixteenth birthday, in an attempt to get advice about her mother from her uncle Cid, regent of Lindblum, she asked Zidane, a thief who had broken in the castle, to kidnap her.

Depending on her rarity, Garnet has three (4★) or four (5-6★) ability slots. She also has affinity to two types of magic: White (Lvl 5-8) and Green Magic (Lvl 3-6).

Garnet has four traits that can be enhanced: Curaga, Raise, EVO MAG + and Princess of Alexandria.
- Limit Burst
Garnet's Limit Burst receives three different names, depending on her rarity: Princess's Prayer, and Guardian's Oath. An evocation type ability, it increases the evocation gauge. How much it increases depends on her rarity.
