The Gandayaks is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2.
Stats[]
Battle[]
It can make use of powerful physical attacks, and when paired with Gahongas, can be made even more powerful by the latter's use of Fanatic's Dance. The player should press the attack, defeating any Gahongas found in the battle before the Gandayaks.
Paradigm Pack[]
The Gandayaks is a Commando when tamed. An Early Peaker, it is incredibly cheap to train to its maximum level of 20, and is a powerful ally in the early stages of the game, although its stats flat-line once it passes level 10. It also possesses some useful abilities in its skillset, most notably Area Sweep and Armor Breaker. It also learns Strength: +16%, which can be infused into another monster once the player obtains a more powerful Commando.
