Game Over in Final Fantasy VII.

Game Over (オールオーバー, Ōru Ōbā?, lit. All Over) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is originally the ultimate Limit Break for Cait Sith, but is also part of the Slots skillset. It is Cait Sith's most powerful ability, but risky to get wrong.

Appearances[]

Final Fantasy VII[]

Game Over is a possible outcome for Cait Sith's Slots if the player lines up a Face/Face/Face combination. It is the most powerful Limit Break, inflicting Death on any enemy and bypasses Death immunity, allowing the player to defeat even the strongest superbosses in one blow. However, it does not bypass full magic immunity. As such, it will miss against a Magic Pot that has not been given an Elixir, and also against Ruby Weapon before it sinks its tentacles for the first time. Additionally, if used during an attack from both sides formation, it will only defeat the enemies on one side.
