The Galajelly is an enemy in Final Fantasy V. It uses an attack called Rainbow Wind to drain a target's HP and inflict both Darkness and Silence. Its Spirit Blast deals an automatic critical hit. It absorbs every element except wind, and is immune to every status ailment.
Physical attackers will have trouble due to the Galajelly's high Evasion, but they can be put down simply enough with Blue Magic skills, such as the non-elemental 1000 Needles, Aqua Breath, or the wind-elemental Aero spell, which costs less MP. Additionally, they can be taken down easily from Ranger’s Aim and Rapid Fire abilities which ignores their high Evasion.

Etymology[]
In the U.S. and Canada, jelly refers to a clear or translucent fruit spread made from sweetened fruit (or vegetable) juice—thus differing from jam by excluding the fruit's flesh—and is set by using its naturally occurring pectin, whereas outside North America jelly usually refers to a gelatin-based dessert.
