The Gahongas is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It appears most often aside its compatriot, the Gandayaks. Since the Gahongas can use abilities to increase the potency of the already-powerful Gandayaks, the Gahongas should be targeted and defeated first. When forced into personal melee combat, it is rather weak and vulnerable.
Stats[]
Paradigm Pack[]
The Gahongas becomes a Synergist when tamed. It has an extremely slow growth at low to mid levels, and its stats only skyrocket once it passes level 70. It skillset is rather limited for a Level 99 monster, although it does possess Bravery and Faith, its eagerness to cast defensive buffs such as Shell and Veilga first hinders the party's offensive capabilities.
