Etymology
Caina is the name of the first round of the Ninth Circle of Hell in Dante's Inferno. It is where traitors to their kindred (family) are punished. This, and other enemies that are named from the Ninth Circle, refer to Genesis's betrayals. He betrays his family by killing his parents.
