The Fury is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. She is found in the Tower of Owen. As a flying enemy, the Fury is weak to wind-elemental attacks. Though she is not fought here in the NES version of the game, data for it including a sprite was left in the game.
She is located in the entry room of the Tower of Owen, specifically where the frogs are located. This is a rare encounter so the player may need to persist.

In Greek mythology the Erinyes, also known as the Furies, were female chthonic deities of vengeance, sometimes referred to as "infernal goddesses". A formulaic oath in the Iliad invokes them as "those who beneath the earth punish whosoever has sworn a false oath". They correspond to the Dirae in Roman mythology, and some suppose that they are called Furies in hell, Harpies on earth, and Dirae in heaven.
