Restore HP fully, revive from KO

Description

Full-life is a restore magic spell in Final Fantasy VIII. The spell is used to revive a KO'd character at full HP. It is a level above Life, which only revives a character at 25% of their HP. The spell can also be junctioned to greatly boost stats, and is the second-best spell to junction onto HP-J, Vit-J, and Spr-J.

Obtained[]

Full-life is a rare spell only drawn from bosses and from rare draw points, and refined from few items using Siren's L Mag-RF ability. The player may want to wait to fight Tonberry King until Lv30+ to be able to draw Full-life from it. Fujin at the Lunatic Pandora also has it for draw. Modifying the Phoenix card allows the player to get their full stocks of Full-life if they refine the Phoenix Spirits.

There is a Full-life draw point in Fishermans Horizon accessed as part of the Master Fisherman sidequest, on the spot where he used to sit. Full-life draw point in FH from FFVIII Remastered

The player can also get one Full-life spell from Zell's "love quest" if they give Hot dogs & Blue as the answers to a "survey" held by girls at the library, and later return for the results.

Stats[]

Use[]

Full-life restores 100% of a KO'd character's HP when cast, and can also damage undead enemies. It can only be cast using the Magic command.

Casting Full-life in battle increases compatibility with Carbuncle and Alexander by 0.2, but lowers compatibility with Eden by 0.2 as well.

Full-life is the second-best spell to junction onto HP-J, Vit-J, and Spr-J. While it can also provide great defense against all elements or Instant Death, the stat boosts are often a superior choice. Due to Full-life's rarity, its potency for stat boosts, and being replaceable by the "Revive" command, it is often best to stock Full-life rather than cast it.

No enemies use it.
