|text= We seem to have run into a serious problem. Two experienced admins have left with two months of each other, and one went on a break for about two weeks. Now, I have been on here for a while, Not always as active has I am now, and this appears to be unprecedented, sure we had vandal problems (anyone remember that porn vandal we had a while back?) and spats between users, but this seems to be getting worse. We need to do something to stop such experienced users from leaving, while at the same time, we need to start thinking about who is going to replace the vagrant MMIL. We just made it over the 100,000 article mark, and i do not wish to see the wiki die or slow to near death like pretty much every other gaming wiki has (sans the KH one). (yeah I know you all know this, but somebody had to post something.)

|text= They have not been admins for very long, mind you. Bluer and MMIL where far more experienced and valuable to the wiki. No matter how good Faeth and 8bit are, they cannot take the place of those two. And if these two can up and leave, who is next?

If it is not a problem, then no harm was done, but what if it had been? Are you really trying to discourage people from pointing out problems? Especially when the trend keeps repeating itself? |text= Sorry about jumping the gun, I have gotten some grief over my template setup in the past from some other users. And I was not bashing the new admins, I was just pointing out that some of the older and more experienced ones are leaving. I do not doubt that you and 8bit will eventually reach the level of Bluer and the others. But right now we are losing a considerable amount of talent. I am just trying to prevent the loss of any more valuable users, specifically those who have been here since the beginning of the wiki. These users knew pretty much everyone in some way or another, faethin and 8 bit, while good, lack in some areas simply because they have yet to be admins for long enough. But I am certainly not condemning you, I have yet to see any problems come from either of you, and don't get me wrong, if you guys screw up, you better believe I am going to call you on it (though AJ and MC would probably beat me to it...), but thus far, I have seen no reason to do so. In short, keep up the good work, continue to learn, <joke>and if you go fascist, you will have ME to deal with. ME!!! *Maniacal laugh* </joke>. Oh, almost forgot. Since we already have other topics about this, and there appears to be no new data regarding this. I will stop posting on this thread. Sorry about the mix up.

Just because they haven't had Sysop rights for long does not mean they are inexperenced users, as it's not like they've been sitting on their hands going "duuuuuur <_>" for the entire time before becoming sysops. Both have been extremely active users and have each amassed for +1½ years worth of experience concerning how the FFWiki has been managed, how policies and rules have been changed, and the other workings of the FFWiki. It's not like they first start gaining experience in the workings of the wiki by the time they become sysops. It usually starts the moment you become an active member of the community.

But just for the fun of it, and out of personal curiousity, could you mention one of these areas where they are 'lacking' according to you..? ^^}}

Okay, I have had it with these mix ups. So how about this?

1. They are experienced users, but have not been admins for long. Therefore they lack experience at BEING ADMINS. My apologies if I did not make that one clear.

2. We have lost two highly valuable users in the last two months. I just started the thread to see if we can do something about it.

3. And finally, they may be good. But Bluer and MMIL where better, at least from my standpoint. Don't get me wrong, with enough time, they will likely hit his level at some point. But for now they just are not on the same level. That's all I said. 

that's all I am saying. If this offends someone, I am sorry. If that giant chunk of paragraph I wrote whist on a caffeine high seems offensive, please refer to the three items above for a boiled down version. And I know I said I would stop posting on this thread, so please do not bring that up.

Other than pointing out the obvious, you seem to be emphasizing the two departed, so-called "highly valuable" administrators. What is the problem with having two so-called "inexperienced administrators"? I see them as perfect testing grounds: my "boldness" can be used to nurture their administrative capabilities. I am past all that vandal news blurb, but my point in that thread still stands: "having less or more administrators don't really mean anything if they're not online". Losing one administrator isn't actually the problem; it's counting for any existing users to be online - but that isn't easily remediable so I'll let that slide. Really, what is your proposal, Exdeath64? Write an e-mail and ask the two "departed" administrators to return? Send flowers? Send free action figures? Send free copies of FFX3? 

TLDR version: Offline administrators are more of a problem than one less administrator >:3}}
