It can be coded, though it would require a number of parameters. Or just 1337 skills. If you want it to be coded, call me.

Secondly, style="border:1px solid black". Or, style="border:[thickness] [style] [color]". Put that in a table cell and you have a border. 18:53, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, in-game things should be kept, even if they aren't so specific. I did it like [[Auto Abilities|this]] here. If you can think of a better format, then you can change that article too... y'know, for consistency. 15:15, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

Ser, you've hit it. That's the best way to do it. C A T U S E 23:55, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

All the shop info you can possibly need is here. As for getting that into a table... that'll need some work. C A T U S E 04:18, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

Tabs for both? 14:59, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

FFVII Cait Sith Battle.gif
PFF PuPu.png

Aah, well you see, XIII uses tabs to note what it looks like at different point in the story. I hoped that wouldn't happen here.

If we wanted to display both, we could still use tabs wrapping each entry... or we could have two different h2s on the page... or we could use two different pages, be it subpaging or otherwise. 19:10, November 19, 2011 (UTC)

Nope, I wasn't the one who uploaded the missing pictures. Some other nice wikia contributor did that. I have a format in mind for Personea which I'm starting tomorrow. I can also do the Bravery/Faith Quotes with no problem. Also planing on redoing the Enemy Ability list and a few more (smaller) FFT related articles. Also wanted to mention, should Holy Dragon/Dark Dragon get their own pages? Currently, they are merge within their own respective articles (Reis and Bremondt). Fenrir9 06:55, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

They should, I think. Gaffgarion, to name one, isn't merged with Dark Knight. C A T U S E07:00, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

(cuz my computer doesn't like editing full pages when they are that huge)[edit source]

FFVII Cait Sith Battle.gif

The Quote page is done, all there is left to do is put how they are access/triggered (low Bravery & high Faith, etc) and stuff. Quote page is at Final Fantasy Tactics Quotes. Fenrir9 23:05, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

Categorized and templated. Plus it's been added to Template:FFT. C A T U S E23:10, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

Hybrid jobs or Pseudo jobs (such as Byblos, Reaver, Automaton, etc - they are haft monsters haft-human jobs), should they be listen as well with the oher FFT jobs in that, er box thingy? (like when on the Squire page, you can click on other jobs). Fenrir9 02:21, November 27, 2011 (UTC)

I'm assuming you're talking about the navigation template at the bottom of the page. They probably should be on there actually, though whether or not they go in their own section, or with Special Class Jobs, is up to you to decide I suppose Xenomic 03:44, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
When you decide, you can let me know or [[Template:FFTJobs|edit it yourself]]. C A T U S E03:46, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
Or... would it be better if it had its own navigation template? Monster job class... or Special job class? What should we call it if it a new one that would contain Reaver, etc plus Lucavi jobs too? Fenrir9 05:50, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
They should be on the current Job template. For those that are for monsters (even if they are playable mainly such as Automaton), there should be a section at the very bottom for them. For those that are playable (generally speaking, this only really applies to Holy Dragon for Reis), those go with the other Special Jobs for the playble characters. That's what I think. Xenomic 05:54, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
After a lot of thinking, I've notice that there is no monster template. We could create a template and put all genus (monsters), hybrid jobs (Reaver, etc), and Lucavi jobs in there. All the monsters are not inner connected sort of speaking. Compare to other parts of the FFT articles. Fenrir9 21:02, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
Approved. Started work at "Template:FFTMonster". C A T U S E23:23, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
Forgot Byblos... :( Fenrir9 03:45, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
Hey I ain't perfect. C A T U S E03:56, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
Added to all the common monster pages. Now going after hybrids and Lucavi. C A T U S E23:45, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
And added to the hybrids and Lucavi. C A T U S E23:57, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

Outfitters in the Sandsea[edit source]

I modified part of Zero's Outfitter page. For the most part it works now, except that ugly box on the top left corner. I used pretty much all the CSS I know and all I could do was make the lines around the box to be harder to see. :( C A T U S E01:46, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

If I am not mistaken, "Trade Cites", Castles, etc sell certain types of items. I known Castle sells armor, etc. How about labeling them such as Trade Cities, Cattle Towns, etc... I remember a quote where this generic character referred to buying certain items through certain types of towns. then, bellow the table. Put something along this line. Castle Towns includes Eagrose Castle, Lionel Castle, etc... Trade Cities includes... etc. Fenrir9 03:50, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
I will do just that. C A T U S E03:59, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, don't forget to put Yes and No instead of yes and no. Looks better with the former. Good job with it, it looks good. Fenrir9 04:16, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
Well as I said I mostly stole Zero's walkthrough page. I just changed it around to look more like the the Wiki's Tactics articles' tables. So admire him, not me. C A T U S E04:20, November 28, 2011 (UTC)

Battlefields with big images[edit source]

User:Catuse167/Templates/Bubble/time=00:54, November 29, 2011 (UTC)

I'll say the second one, if it doesn't look good. The first on will do. I didn't know what Oasis was until I click the link, but yeah even before I knew the name. I've seen it before and its ugly. Fenrir9 03:59, November 29, 2011 (UTC)

Wrapping Things Up for FFT[edit source]

Haven't started Personea page yet, currently working on a new page for FFT. The Sound Novel page needs extending (two novels missing info), so I tagged it as so. Enemy Abilities List needs info from Xenomic before its completed, he also wanted to put his info such as #% hit rate, etc in all unit's Jobs. So, he'll be using the table which can be found in the Enemy Ability List. Missing the monster-only abilities under the template of FFT Abilities (Cannot enter water, Waterbreathing - pages for these two would need to be created too), The dummied ability Non-charge/CT 0 (works if you hack it on your character), and the Enemy only Teleport 2/Master Teleportation (would simply link to Teleport page). If other stuff, mention it here. Fenrir9 04:15, November 29, 2011 (UTC)

Awesome. Outfitter is done and ready for action; that just leaves Enemy Abilities, the Sound Novel, Personae, and (if we want to have them)... Blue's map idea. C A T U S E04:18, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
Blue's map idea? Don't think I've heard of it. Want to tell me, it sounds interesting. Edit: Ah, the battlefield map. I though you were talking about the world map. Fenrir9 04:48, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
Yes, that. I assume it would take weeks to cover every battlefield in the game, but it'd be interesting to have if we want it. C A T U S E04:55, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
Aerith, Construct 7, Holy Dragon, Dark Dragon, fix monsters description (except Chocobo - got three different description for each) to PSP description is all done. Is there a Zodiac Compability chart on the wiki? Should there be one? It wouldn't take long to make one. The monster-only abilities in the template of FFT Abilities (Cannot enter water, Waterbreathing), The dummied ability Non-charge/CT 0, and the Enemy only Teleport 2/Master Teleportation. These abilities will be in 3 seperate row (Monster Only, Enemy Only, and Dummied). What color should they be? Regular jobs are shaded grey, dark knight is shaded red. Click the Show button from -> http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Gil_Snapper_%28Final_Fantasy_Tactics%29 Fenrir9 14:15, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
Well, I don't know if there is one, but if there is IMHO it should be at Zodiac (Term). C A T U S E16:12, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
I'll check around to see if there is one when I'm done with the Personae (check the page please, is the format alright?), if there isn't a Zodiac page, I'll put the Zodiac compabilities with battle mechanics on the very same page on how the signs works so there more info. Good or bad? Fenrir9 20:07, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
That's not alright, that's awesome! I fixed some of the code; everything from Gragoroth down was a bit buggy. (Actually, never mind; you beat me to the punch). I don't really know about how to put information on the Zodiac, but what you suggested sounds good. C A T U S E23:56, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
FFVII Cait Sith Battle.gif
Yeah, the end was a train wreak lol. I forgot to put either " or a >, it was one or the other lol. Put the following.
  • Complete Enemy list by Zenomic, so he can put his info where the ? is present.
While checking around earlier this week, I came to not like the format of the Character list. I was thinking of placing the missing portraits of all the characters, I can upload the missing portraits easily. I like how they are separated and all. Some of them do not have much information (such as Bishop Canne-Beurich for instance), and well quite frankly doesn't deserve a full page, but at least deserves a little bit more information. This will also provide a chance to merge a few or several articles together.
I was thinking of creating a list of minor characters that would all be in the same article (example - Lezalas should be in here). Those like (Celia would direct to their main articles, etc). The link of minor characters would be found on the character page itself bellow the main or important characters. Creating a page with a List of Minor Characters and move them all on that page, what is your thoughts? I can easily provide the portraits of missing characters (such as Bishop Canne-Beurich, etc). I'm sure you've seen lots of List of Minor Characters in other wikis, right? If you agree, could you provide me with all characters that should/deserve to appear on such list so that I place them all there. The Character list needs a revamp, got any ideas for it?
Oh, by the way. I've found the information that I've been looking for that will be place in the Zodiac Term section and its quit an interesting read. I'll work on that a bit later.
The character list already exists. C A T U S E02:17, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

I just used that guide Xeno linked to earlier in the page to complete the Enemy Abilities page myself. C A T U S E 03:07, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

I forgot the Sound Novels... How are we going to finish those? Fenrir9 05:52, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

No idea. I have no idea. Why not ask Xeno? C A T U S E06:00, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

I just added the outfitter data to List of Final Fantasy Tactics Items. Good or bad, the way I did it? C A T U S E00:47, December 2, 2011 (UTC)

It's all done now. I'm officially dropping out of this project unless something comes up, but I'll keep following this forum to see if something does come up.C A T U S E00:11, December 6, 2011 (UTC)
Fix quite a few mistakes and inconsistency across numerous pages (battle pages), so I updated them. Error(s) in translation pages and put missing info. Left to do from me is Zodiac chart information in Zodiac Terms section.

-Zodiac Chart (Doing it tomorrow) -Sound Novels (Incomplete) Fenrir9 02:03, December 11, 2011 (UTC)

New Interactive Maps[edit source]

This seems like "something coming up". I've created an inaccurate sample of what that could be like at my sandbox. It's horribly buggy but thanks to Wikia's server being flaky and me having homework, I can't fix it now. Yay or nay?C A T U S E

It looks good, but do get rid of the D1 (Depth 1?). Only show the units. How about labeling units like Sq = Squire. In FFT (PS1), when looking at a weapon or armor description by pressing the select button, they shortened the job's name for this game. also, replacing E (Enemy I presume) to Sq (Squire). A legend would be good to have in this case. Here are some suggestions.
-Remove D1.
-Instead of E, put S (Special unit) for Milleuda or B (Boss).
-Generic units (enemies), check the PS1 game for the abbreviation of jobs under the weapon and armor help menu. Example: Sq = Squire, etc.
-G (Guess), R (Ramza so we know where he starts), and U (Units).
Personally, I would just put units on the map along with treasure/traps location. Also, don't forget to put up a Legend table for easy understanding of the map. Fenrir9 22:43, December 18, 2011 (UTC)
FFVII Cait Sith Battle.gif

It does have Move-Find-Item, Xeno. The "I" indicates that, and then you can mouse over and find out what it is. Or you should be able to at least...C A T U S E00:29, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

Something that just came to me, can you create this in multiple tabs? Tabs like the ones on the Personea page. The first tab for the units placement and location (allies and enemies), second tab for items (and traps), and a third for height/depth. All information would be present. Fenrir9 01:27, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, but then we'd need three overhead shots of every map. That'd be a lot of work, but it'd work. C A T U S E01:31, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
That's actually a really good idea. Prevents data overload on one single map as well. And nobody said that work on a wiki was always easy~ I would know >_>;; Xenomic 01:40, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
I never said that. But file work is probably my least favorite part of wiki editing. Hm... on the other hand, this wouldn't be that hard, and it would make it easier to understand... hmm... maybe if I'm not busy tomorrow I'll make all these changes. Oh, and for future reference, I got the image at the Caves of Narshe. I'm always iffy when it comes to Fair Use matters, so that isn't a copyright violation so long as it has {{SECopyright}} on it, since it was extracted from the game, right...?C A T U S E01:49, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
Everything that is extracted from a game is SECopyright even if you didn't extract it yourself. I think ripping files from games may be technically illegal, but SE themselves are the ones in charge of really monitoring it at the end of the day. Wikia doesn't seem to really care either way, they break copyright rules themselves all the time.Keltainentoukokuu 05:08, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
FFVII Cait Sith Battle.gif
Tab 1: Depth and Height
D Depth of water
H Height of land
Tab 2: Units
A Place to put down ally unit
R Ramza's starting position
G Guest starting location
E Enemy starting location
B Boss starting location
Tab 3: Items
I Move-Find Item location
T Trap location
Move-Find Item location, the PSP ability is actually called Treasure Hunter if I am not mistaken. Check the Chemist page to be sure. I would exchange tab 1 and put the Units first and tab 2 would be Height and Depth. I'm pretty sure players would rather see the units placement first without too much clicking (well, this player writing this would). I would call tab 3: Treasures/Hidden Items. Everything else is fine. Fenrir9 06:24, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

I created a new legend at User:Catuse167/RSTCYN#The_Whole_General_Sort_of_FFT_Mapping_Mishmash. The first three tabs are where the maps are gonna go (I can't work on 'em now) and the last one is for the Legend. Looks half-decent to me.C A T U S E16:06, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
