As of late, I've been going through random articles and making edits here and there. Something that's been concerning me is the issue of articles marked with the stub tag. While some of the articles may be short, or lacking, I see other articles with less information that do not have the tag. What exactly constitutes a "stub" and how do I know when to add or remove it? I already read the Wikipedia article on stubs and it didn't help all that much.
At Zeldapedia, I always assume "stubs" mean articles lacking useful information, not shortness.

Essentially if you see an article that is lacking, add a {{stub}} tag. It's not an insult to your writing skill or anything, simply a statement that someone else may be able to add more. It's not like putting it up for deletion... Now that I'm back I'm going back to my role of wikignome, that is that I sort out all the crap lying around, including the stub article lists. If I see a stub article that should not be a stub article, I will remove the stub.
