Part of a series of reviews of all policies to prepare for the upcoming VII Remake release Hi all, to make this simple: with Final Fantasy VII Remake releasing soon, and Aerith being officially renamed to "Aerith" instead of "Aeris", the question becomes if we should end our old rule to have designated "Aeris" sections in story pages. Currently, I (and many others) are operating under the assumption that Final Fantasy VII Remake would get separate story sections from the original all together, so this mostly concerns if we want to use the name "Aeris" when referring to Aerith in the original game, in Story sections. For gameplay sections, we would still use "Aeris" irrespective, for the same reason we use "Dagger" in gameplay contexts and "Garnet" in story contexts. Please discuss below!

I'd say that since they're **officially** retconning Aeris as Aerith, we should just say "mistranslated as Aerith" at the top of the page and use Aerith everywhere else. There's no other reason to use Aeris anymore other than nostalgia. It always seemed unprofessional, and now it's official.
