I've noticed that some of the pages I follow (mostly the FFV ones) have been revamped so that events under Story are in past tense rather than present tense. Is this the preferred format from here on? I want to expand some of the Final Fantasy Dimensions articles and I'd like to keep in line with what we're doing now. (Also, is there a style guide? I poked around but I haven't found one.) Inkycompass (talk) 14:05, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- See Project:Manual of Style:
- For lore pages: Historical information should be written from an in-universe point of view, the writing should always be in past tense, and history-related sections should not mention out-of-universe facts.
- For gameplay pages: In pages where the story is described (such as chapter or quest pages), a section for story information may be included. Unlike history information sections from lore articles, these are written in present tense to describe events as they happen, and any spoilers here must be wrapped in spoiler tags. Throughout the rest of the page (and in gameplay articles with no story information sections), spoilers may not be included.
