Storyline it has to be Gogo, he has no story. Gameplay i have to say it's Selphie, her weapon sucks & her slot is useless.
Cactoid Summon

NEOGANONDORFF- If any of you have ever read any of my past posts then ya'll already know my answer. WAKKA!!!! I hate Wakka so much, Never have i played a game and been so dissapointed in a character- That includes the Breath of fire series with that awful plant guy in number 2-I hate him, his voice actors especially the kingdom hearts one who must have decided he sounds better with an indian accent and i hate blitzball. More so i hate the fact that you cannot get any of his overdrives without playing said god awful gam,e. Without Blitzball and his oh so annoying voice and religion pushing he could have been a good character, The fun loving jock with a do-able football attack, he and Tidus could've had many memorable scenes arguing about who would win the league this year and who is the best striker but sadly (excuse the pun)Square-enix dropped the ball on this one. as for Cait sith, i love him as a character and i personally feel he is well designed if crap to use. What is with the scottish accent though? Does Gaia have a scotland?

NEOGANONDORFF- "Some sources state that the planet is called Gaia." I'm gonna stick with some sources, I called it Gaia first time i tried describing the game to someone and i'm not the only one apparently.

Hey people I think that Edward the Sponney bard is the most annoying he's only a playable charater for a little part of the game his stats are low and he is a girl!(I know I spelt character wrong!)

I'm just going to throw Kimahri out there because I doubt anyone has ever used him for anything.Osf 01:07, 27 March 2009

User:MechaUltimaZero Meh. I know somebody's going to be pissed at me for this, but I think it just might be Balthier in FFXII. Now before you get your pitchforks and come after me, I always wound up using Ashe, Basch, and Penelo as my team--I used Basch for attacking, Ashe for healing/summoning, and Penelo for attacking and using magic. That was just the way I played it.

I disagree. Gogo was pretty versatile, you could use any ability you wanted, not to mention the fact he gets any magic any other member of your party has. Exdeath64 03:32, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Thief from FF1 Was most definitely ass. They really didn't do anything...until you got the upgrades class though. Ninja is a different story. From a story perspective I'd say Vaan...he's my favorite character from XII but I won't deny and say the story wouldn't have gone the same witout him it really would've AnonyMan 03:36, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

At first, id say Vaan or penelo, but Selphie gets my vote because she just-appears. And has no back story. I mean, sure, Penelo hasn't got one either, but at least shes half decent in battles. 16:51, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Well, since i didn't see a clause specifically relating to "must be playable" i'm going to go with Remora as the attack almost never works, when it does work it's only temporarily, and FISH CANNOT PARALYZE!!! What could a basic remora dude to a reflect knight that would paralyze it? WHAT I ASK YOU!!?!?! No point, totally useless, and nonsensical. Need i yell more? --Gerdat14 06:13, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

The most worthless character is....YOU, for keeping this nonsense spam thread alive. If I ever get Admin powers, the first thing I'm doing is purging the forum of boring moron topics like this. At least this one isn't in some pointless list format. Drake Clawfang 06:46, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Rydia. Brcause she sucks in evry single way imaginable and if you actually like her than any and all relation that i had with you has been completely destroyed. . 07:27, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

DS Golbez

I'm going to vote Gordon. He's rather useless, comes ill-equipped, and he's a bit of a coward. Additionally, it's very likely that he's inspiration for Edward Chris von Muir. -Demitel 05:38, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

michelrpg Penelo. Someone mentioned she is customisable and that makes her useful. I need to point out that there are no less than five other characters who are customisable as well, dismissing penelo's use battle-wise. Storywise, she and vaan are big pain in the asses (at least vaan is useful for early leveling). She has a huge "what the fuck is this brat doing in the story" aura around her, and I dont like it. As for other useless characters... I have none. Kihmari can be a powerhouse depending on your level of play. Wakka, when time is invested in blitzball, is your personal "going to fuck up dark aeons" fighter. Quina... lv4 death + grand dragons, enough said. Cait Sith serves a purpose in the story, and I like the fact that as soon as you get him you're able to see every summon in the game (with some luck). Yuffie is a great fighter and serves a tiny bit of story in a sidequest (which I like). In FF8, there are simply no useless characters since they all serve either story or in battle. So in short... Penelo and Vaan suck, but Penelo sucks a bit more. I restarted FF12 just now, and as soon as I get Basch, Balthier, and Fran, I am so going to dropkick those tiny brat-fuckers out of my team ^^

I think all of you dumbasses forgot about Ghost and also Vaan is the best all around character in that game and Fran statistically is the worst.--BigCubby 18:15, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Black Mage V

I suppose, but remember Gogo is very versatile. He/she/it can use every spell your other party members have, along with being able to combine several different ability sets (and if you use mimic you can summon an esper again). I usually give him/her/it Blue Magic, Magic, and either Tools or Coin Toss depending on the situation, with that combo you can rip through practically anything. Got a tough enemy? Hit it with Air Anchor. That won't work? Nuke it with Ultima. Need a defensive boost? Mighty Guard. Gotta heal? White Wind. Out of MP? Chainsaw. Now all your others MAY be able to do these things, but only Gogo can have all of them in one. Exdeath64 19:54, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Hate to break it to you, but FFX has seven characters in it. Eight if you include Seymour. Also, I'm changing my opinion to make it a tie between Balthier (reasons somewhere above) and (call your paramedics, there be heart attacks incoming).... pretty much everybody who's a Dragoon, except for the cast of FFV and Kimahri, who squaks out of it because of his Overdrives. In my personal experience, Jumping is not more powerful than normal attacks to a meaningful degree compared to the extra time required - since most Dragoons are in games with an ATB. In V, they're handy for taking out Shinryu, which is why I don't count that class. King Nothing Where's your crown? 02:04, January 28, 2012 (UTC)
