		First off, do not think of this as my 'grand return' to the FFWiki; I have no intentions of returning any time soon, if at all. I will be here concerning this issue and this issue alone. Any questions not answered by this post, I leave up to the people, who have been here for quite a while, to answer. Aaaaanywho, I was asked by a few people here from the FFWiki if I was gonna make another holiday shout-out flash, and being the freakishly nice guy that I am (plus being on a sugar high), I agreed to do so. Those of you who have no idea of what I am talking about, read the QA below. First, here is what I will need for you, if you wish to participate in this little project: An audio clip of you wishing people a happy holiday, singing a holiday carol, or cussing people out because the holidays are nothing but humbug (say whatever, I don't really care, as long as it is related to the holidays and within reason, i.e. not overly offensive.) An image of you. The image should preferably be neck-up, but waist-up works too. Full body shots not allowed, since the image is supposed to be wider than it is high. 'Exact' measurements are width: 240-275px, height: 150-180px. I leave it to you trim it accordingly. If you're too big a noob to use even MS Paint to do this, just send the image as it is, and I'll trim it for you (and draw friggin' doodles on it while I'm at it >:3). EDIT: Apparently, a great deal of you are noobs at resizing images to fit specifications... Therefore I've made a FAQ at the bottom of this page to help you out. Your favorite colour. I need the hexadecimal code for it. Use the HTML Color Picker here (scroll down a bit) to find out what the code for your favorite color and shade is. If you're a hot 18-22 year old girl living in Copenhagen, your phone number, address, meassurements, and how quickly your father can chase a guy he just caught sleeping with his daughter =.= Send all of the above to <mail removed> and name the topic "FFWiki shout-out" and your screen name, so I know who the hell it is. Now for the questions: What is this "Holiday Shout-out" thing? I've never heard of it before. Read here. Why are you asking already? The holidays are like... THREE MONTHS FROM NOW!! I actually have more important crap to attend to, and with my new school-related workload I have maybe 20-40 minutes of leasure time per day, making me a cold, cynical bastard with a sardonic sense of humour. So... yeah... no big difference there actually, but point is, making this crap takes HOURS of animating and ActionScripting, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna spend more than 5-10 minutes per day on average on making this. It WILL look awesome, and it WILL be done on time, as long as you follow the rules O_O! I don't have a microphone, but I wanna make a holiday shout-out :( What should I do, oh great one? Borrow one from a friend. If you can't, record it on a web-cam, digi-cam, video-cam, cam-ouflage (wait, what..?), send the file, and I'll extract and use the audio from the video. I don't have audio recording software on my computer... :( Yes you do, it's called Sound Recorder and is included in Microsoft Windows. Make sure the recording input (in the options/properties) is set to Microphone and not Line In (which is the default, I think). But I don't have Windows, I have a Mac One of many mistakes you've made in your life, I bet... (yup, cold, cynical, sardonic, that's me). I'm not sure I want to send an image off myself for others to see... With MySpace, Facebook, and all the other crap on the Internet, odds are we, and the rest of the world's populus with Internet, already know what you look like. I, however, need it for an effect I'm making, so if you're insecure or something, take a picture while wearing oversized sunglasses, make a bar across your eyes, wear a slanted hat, or whatever. Be creative. When is the deadline? There are two deadlines. The first will be 15 October, since I'll be leaving for Serbia to visit family and receive some special medical treatment. All the 'entries' I get by then are SURE to be in the flash. The second deadline is 17 December. Any entries between 16 October and 17 December may or may not be in the flash. I will try my best to add them, but I give no guarantees since I will be busy as hell when I get back from Serbia. Where and when will the flash be posted when it is done? The flash will be posted around 24 December on my blog, M dash. I will not give any notices here on the wiki, it is your responcibility to check. If you're lucky, Yuan-chan or Blue may be nice enough to make a thread directing you to the post, when the time comes. In the odd chance that a question will be posted that I have not answered already, and that the other peoplez can't answer either, find and ask me on the IRC or ask Yuan-chan or Henry politely if they would be so kind as to ask me on Messenger and then report back.

		Update: Don't forget that today, October 1st, is the last day to join! When you join, you have an additional two weeks, i.e. until October 15th, to send in your files, if you want to be sure you wanna be in the animation. If you send after that deadline, but still before December 17th, you might still be in the animation, but I give no promises. I will try my best if I'm not too busy with work and school. So even if you're currently not in the mood, remember that it's better to sign up now (so that I can make the necessary changes in the animation while I still have time to actually do them) and give a late submission, than it is to just send the submission sometime in November/December without having signed up by today, since I then honestly won't care about it and it'll go straight to my recycle bin. 'Cause if you can't even be bothered to spend 30 seconds on signing up, then fuck no I'm gonna spend 30 minutes changing expanding everything just because you wanted to be in it after all.

		Little over 10 hours left to join, peoplez, and then it will no longer be October 1st anywhere in the world. Everyone who joins after that point will simply be ignored.

		It is now no longer the 17th anywhere in the world, meaning that the second deadline has now passed. The flash itself has been exported, uploaded, and coded into a post, so any future shout-outs sent to me from this point on will simply be ignored, since I'm not gonna redo a finished product. The post containing the finished flash has a timer that makes the published post (yes, it is technically published) 'invisible' until December 24, 01.00 PM (CET). This equals noon (UTC), so figure out for yourselves what time that is in your country or have someone write a thread when it's up, I don't really care. This will likely be my last contribution to this Wiki, so enjoy it. Happy holidays.

		Okays. Here are basically your three options: I go with this, which is commonly believed to be you (I honestly could care less, but you asked me to get a picture on my own). So if you confirm this is you, and don't want to send a better picture, I decide whether or not I want to use this one. You voluntarily send me a me a better image or drawing of yourself (I strongly advise you do this). And no, a game/anime/whatever character you use as an avatar or identiy with does not count as a drawing of yourself... I go with a default image, which is decided by how other people perceive you. And me being the sardonic bastard that I tend to be, I doubt you would like it. But then again, I don't really care, now do I..? Tick tock, decision time, hope you go for door number 2 ^_^

Image size FAQ

		Since many of you don't seem to have understood the entire "size" thing, and have sent me images too big, which I have then doodled on as punishment for making me waste my time resizing them, I'm writing a simple to understand FAQ so that most of you can avoid punishment (those who have already fucked up with the images they sent, can resize them themselves and send me the 'new' ones, which I will then use instead). Take or find an image you want to use. Open it in a image editing programme. Make sure "Keep scale ratio" is enabled before you start resizing anything. Set width to 275px and check size ratio. If the height is above 180px when the width is 275px, it means the image is too tall. Either trim it to be shorter or set height to be 180px. If the width goes below 240px when you set height to be 180px, the image is too narrow. Either trim it to be shorter and set the height to 180px again, or use a different image and go through the steps again. If you are unhappy with the the quality of the image at that size, just use or take a different image (I don't have this option, which is why it is important that YOU are the one's resizing your respective images!). Save the image. Send the image.

Try reloading your browser. It worked for me in Firefox 3. I just clicked on the link to open it in a new tab

Ah, I had an older version of Firefox, so now I've seen it. Hexed sounds like a radio guy, and I like your accent. ;3 And I'm glad none of you guys sound like this. o_o I would've done one myself, but I have such a low ugly voice and a bad habit of mumbling. >_<;

I regret not submitting anything, but I couldn't think of anything to match my submission for last year. :(
