Our forums don't have any place for non-FF things. But since this will be potentially for the benefit of the wiki, writing this in Rin's.
I'm using WLMM, and I've tried to tolerate it but it's so damn awful. Doesn't let you add shadows to text (I managed it with some editing of files) nor does it let you do anything creative. I can't overlay images, or have any sort of split-screen video because there can only be one visual thing going on at once, one text thing going at once, and one additional music thing going on at once.
Some of you must use video editing software right? The only programs that I've heard good things about are (AFAIK) Mac-exclusive. 79.69.197.33 19:56, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
I don't know much about video editing software myself (I generally ONLY use Windows Movie Maker, but I don't do fancy stuff at all personally), but there is Sony Vegas out there (I think if you want it without downloading though you'd have to pay for it...). That's ALL I know though in terms of that...^^;;

I use VideoPad, it's not great, but it does its job and is not an abomination like WLMM (and unlike WLMM doesn't crash every five minutes). You can make shadows IIRC, and soundtrack...haven't used it in months though, so it might not. Most of the time I'm too lazy to edit my videos.
Maybe you can try Joyoshare Media Cutter that I'm using now. This is a simple yet effective video cutter and editor. Althouth it is not totally free, but it is a professional video editing shareware, and it won't disappoint you:)
