With the impending rebirth of Final Fantasy XIV, many of the pages will be outdated. Though they are obsolete as guides, they document the original release's content and serve to keep people informed about this era in Eorzea's history. With the sweeping changes made to the realm, it is necessary to make all new pages for the wiki. - Tags aren't really the most suitable for this, and even if they were, using (Pre-ARR) really doesn't fit with how we tag pages. Best thing would probably be to make subpages with a name like, to use your example, "Black Shroud/Archive" or something similar. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 08:00, December 22, 2012 (UTC)
- It would be much easier to subpage/tag by "A Realm Reborn", but that's not practical. So we could subpage at "1.0", "Original". I'm not too fond of Archive since it gives more of the impression that it's our archive rather than content based on a version past, but I'd ride with it. 79.69.204.66 12:33, December 22, 2012 (UTC)
- I think something like Black Shroud/Legacy would work best. There's no official term for pre ARR FFXIV, but the Legacy campaign applies only to pre-ARR so its quite a good term to use to refer to that era of XIV. also, the meaning of the world fits perfectly--Arciel Spira (talk) 17:13, December 22, 2012 (UTC)
