By what I've seen on [[Ultima Weapon (Final Fantasy VI boss)|this page]], a good way to start the battle is equipping Gaia Gears on all your party, as it absorbs the Earth element, and will make Quake heal your party instead of damaging it. Since Ultima is at level 37, you may be a bit low in levels to take it, but I think it's possible to beat it anyway. Use lots of '''non-elemental''' magic and have Shadow throw weapons, if possible. Hello, my name is KirbiMiroir, 13-year-old Master Mime, Ceodore Lover and Nemesis of Kefka. However, despite these titles FFVI is driving me round the twist.
The Ultima Weapon, dare I say it, is completely overpowered. He does not bleed, he does not die, and unless I get help from you guys my time is nigh. Here's my party...
- Lucina: Magitek Elite Lv.26
- Henry: Adventurer Lv.27
- Laura: Rune Knight (Although I prefer the term White Mage) Lv.25
- Shadow: Assassin Lv.24
So how can I defeat Ultima Weapon on the Floating Continent? And yes, I did try using Rasp but that guy has, like, infinite MP.

- It has 5,000 MP to be exact, so this can be a veeeery long way; for me, it's better to deplete its HP, but beware for when this guy is low on health, for it uses the most powerful attacks.
