Is the GF Enemy Diablos susceptible to Silence? I was wondering because it doesn't say on his enemy page, and it would make fighting him a LOT easier :) FallenAngelOfYaoi 13:33, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

No, but he's vulnerable to Blind, just Blind him and you can't lose. Also, he's weak to Gravity (ironically), so Draw-Cast Demi on him for big damage. Drake Clawfang 16:09, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Just fight him the moment you get the magical lamp at the lowest level possible...go to balamb hotel and keep at it. How I did it is keep using GF, and he'll use Demi which lets you use Limits, and when you're down to 1 HP Demi won't do anything, and then hope you can kill him (if he uses Gravija or scratches you, start again).

Really? I found him easier if I fought him with laguna for some reason Poliwirl100 03:35, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, Blind him, and cast Demi on him (if you draw, THEN cast Demi, he will cast Curaga on the attacker. He is a genie after all, but not the Robin Williams-type genie). Gyromite 05:49, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Maybe it's just me, but a have found that diablos is rather easy even without blinding him. Sure i GF my through just about everything, but that way when i do need them it takes like 5 seconds to cast them. Been a while since i played, but if you need to get the mythical 100% on every game, fight him at level 19 with all your toons and smack the urine out of him with your grinded super GFs. Also, i love diablos, even if hes not useful until after you get god mode for him. --Gerdat14 21:26, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Michelrpg: Diablos becomes a hardass the higher your levels are. If you're around level 30 like I was the first time I played the game... you're in for one of the toughest bosses in the game. But to be honest... on low levels you can beat him with just squall. I had zell (no junctions, lv8), Squall (lv15, all gf junctions), and selphie (no junctions, default level). Its really not that difficult. Just have zell do nothing, have squall use renzokuken when available (or just attack), and have selphie overabuse her limit breaks. Wall helps loads. Haste helps. hell, EVERYTHING helps :/...

Diablos will not use his physical attacks if you have 200+ hp (this has happened every time I've played the game)fight him as soon as cid gives you the lamp. He will just keep casting demi, curaga and Gravuja, so have one chr with item and spam potions to keep thier health up and you can win without him attacking once. Also I've found that trying to draw demi from him fails around 80% of the time.

michelrpg If drawing fails it means your magic stat is too low.

I gotta say that the gravity one is probably the best way. One charecter should draw-cast it. The others should just hammer him with spells and physicals (since it is quite hard to die with this strategy, use some weaker spells you won't regret using later on.) I of course, did not know about this when I fought him so I just nuked him with a hell of a lot of GFs and ultima. Exdeath64 23:07, September 21, 2009 (UTC)
