Imagine, now that Dissidia has a sequel, in which there could be more than two warriors battling at once. 2on1, 2on2, 4on2, or even 10on10. The Arenas are far bigger, than now, Having a White Mage(Minwu, Rosa, Aerith) in party would have sense, battles would be over 9000 times more epic than now: Powerful spells flying right over your head, everyone battling around, and you could either aid them, or fight your battle. I had this idea, when I've first played Dissidia, In Squall's story, there was a time, when technically, four characters were battling at the same stage, at the same time. What do you think about this idea? would it make Dissidia better?
I say, this is pretty cool. I can actually use my imagination here. I've added mine for Ramza.
Yeah, this is the best one we have had in a while. Some of the ideas are rather interesting, and it would be weird if there was a sequel and some of these lined up...

Older, sure. Professional, that's debateable. But here has more options and isn't userspace.
Oh Deadlyslashsword.... You've only ignited my desire. Thanks to the inspiration of Drake, I'm now going to take it up the next level. Mask no Oni 20:53, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Ooog. Too much work for me, thanks a lot though.Mask no Oni 21:05, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Everyone, you've done a great job! Also, I don't know about this, but should be expand onto non Final Fantasy characters? I've got some. I mean, it's just for entertaining ourselves, and hoping that some of them will be chosen, isn't it?Mask no Oni 21:07, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Let me think of it...no. But if other people decide to do so, I'll just rant of how cool Neku (TWEWY) will be in this game.
Too late. Start talking. /w\ ~ nyoMask no Oni 22:33, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Nah, we should stick to FF characters, or at least SE. Otherwise the admins might get ticked and decide to start interfering. Exdeath64 23:11, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm down with both. Anything more would be too weird. Mask no Oni 23:14, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh, my sincerest apologies then. By "more professional", all I meant was little to zero grammar errors and arranged into tables.
Ah. Never mind about the debateable part, then. After all, not everyone here as the best grammar around, and as much as I wanted to do tables for Ramza, Luso, Ritz, and Marche, it would make everyone do tables and possibly lag the page. EDIT: Wow. Took me forever to do Llednar.
Man. Why do I have this bad feeling that there are no more Final Fantasy Characters to work with? Mask no Oni 03:35, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
There are. You just need to figure out what should they do. I mean, I can do Adelle or someone like Lenna right now, but I'm not doing it. EDIT 20:43, 11 August 2009 (UTC): Crud, I did Lenna. Oh, well.
Okay, how about... Stages! And Battle Music! Mask no Oni 03:43, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
For FFTA, the Totema and Battle Queen Remedi Battle themes, for sure.
I came up with a move-set for Aya from Parasite Eve, no one would mind if I put it under Other? Leogon255 07:24, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Sure, I guess. I can barely stand the lag caused by ILHI's attempt to remove this thread from the RC. I say that this just isn't worth it. Let the sections be as they are. EDIT 15:32, 14 August 2009 (UTC): So...now what? We do movesets for the Dissidia Flash guys?
Pikmin Master! I have a special request... Please do Neku. Mask no Oni 06:51, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

PM, As glad as I am to hear you wish to aid the project...
1. We are already in the process of doing so.

P.M., great moveset list. Also, what project? Mask no Oni 20:26, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
EDIT 21:03, 17 August 2009 (UTC): So...No one have any more ideas?
I'll do Delita soon, since Ramza needs a rival. But Krystal Tomlin's Delita seems great enough. Anyway, I have a question to whoever's reading this. Do you have a favorite character listed here (that you didn't made up yourself) that will be great for Dissidia? Or maybe your personal favorite just for who he/she/it is? Personally, I have high hopes for the Monk.
I hope that some Tactics characters, Zack, Vincent, Tifa, Zell, Selphie, Edge, Kain, and Setzer come into play. Mask no Oni 04:53, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Red mage, definetely he should be here, as an opposite character to Warrior, in terms of abilities, that is.
A rough breakdown of who I think is going to be added to Dissidia 2, divided by game:
-FFI: Another Warrior of Light? I dunno, I'd rather play as a named character with a history than a generic character, and all of the archetypes represented by the six original classes are done better with other characters from later in the series. They may not add anyone, but if they do, my bets are on Matoya (with a moveset based on heavily crippling her enemies) or Bahamut (with a moveset like the one I posted above).
-FFII: Minwu is the clear favorite here, considering he's the second main protagonist in Dawn of Souls. I like my Leon moveset, but they'd probably add Guy or Maria before Leon. So I'm gonna go with Minwu.
-FFIII: Again, like FFI, there's not a whole lot of named characters here; the main protagonists are all generic classes (and the DS characters aren't much better). I like Xande, or perhaps Doga and Unei, or even Desch. But they may just not add anyone.
-FFIV: Kain. Nuff said.
-FFV: Again, Gilgamesh is definitely the winner here, as the heroes are all pretty generic (though they do have personalities and whatnot this time around) and none of the other NPCs are really notable. Of the protagonists, Faris has the best chance - she's a pirate! She has swords and guns and a sea serpent and swarms of generic pirates to order around. But yeah, Gilly wins here.
-FFVI: This is a tough one. Pretty much any of the playable characters could work here, and there's no clear favorite. I like the Setzer moveset above, but Mog (as a combination of all the non-Ivalice Moogles in the series) might work too. Locke is too much like Zidane, Celes is too much like Terra, Sabin's too much like Tifa... that pretty much leaves Cyan (who everyone hates), Setzer, Mog, Edgar (who could be awesome, actually), Strago (Blue Mages rule), Relm (no), Gogo (Bartz already has the Mime thing) and Umaro (no). And Shadow, I guess.
-FFVII: There's three big characters here: Vincent (long-range with transformations for HP attacks and EX Mode), Tifa (fast, close range brawler) and Zack (would probably end up being too much like Cloud, even with some of his unique attacks from Crisis Core). Secondary characters would be Aerith (White mage), Yuffie (Apparently some people like her, considering she's appeared in every Compilation title to date) and pretty much every other PC. I once had an idea (that I'll post later) about a character called "The Turks", who would basically be Reno, Rude and Elena with each having a different specialty, then their EX Burst being like Knights of the Round but with the BC Turks. But I'm going to say... they'll add Zack as an alternate costume for Cloud, and add both Vincent and Tifa.
-FFVIII: I'd like to see Seifer, as he's more of a villain than a hero. Rinoa is a good chance, considering she has a wide variety of attacks. Another, remote chance would be Edea, as she could be either a villain or a hero, depending on if they want to use mind control again.
-FFIX: Vivi! I'd love to see Vivi. Garnet works too, though the White Mage/Summoner thing is done better by Yuna. The other PCs are pretty much left in the dust, though Quina would be an awesome WTF!!?!?!?!?!! choice.
-FFX: Yuna and Seymour are pretty much shoe-ins. FFX is the most popular non-FFVII game, so they could get away with four characters, I suppose. They could always just get rid of Jecht - you know, e-Jecht him (hehe, gotta love terrible puns)
-FFXII: Skipping FFXI because it sucks. Balthier for life. Basch would be a good replacement for Gabranth (just alter his moves a bit and make Basch wear the armor for his EX Mode). Vayne would make a good villain, as would Dr. Cid.
-FFXIII: Lightning's a shoe-in for Dissidia 2, though we'll have to see how she plays first.
-KH: Sora as the hero and Riku as the villain. Nomura said he'll probably add KH characters, which means he'll definitely add KH characters, and Sora and Riku are the two most consistent (screw Roxas and Axel and Ansem and all of those guys).
-Other Square Games: Ramza might be a good addition, representing the non-FFXII Ivalice games. I'd love to see Crono (as my moveset above shows). Neku would actually work pretty well, as would several of the non-FF characters posted on here. As for more esoteric choices...? A DQ character (Dragon Quest is Square too), Edward Elric from FMA (as I recall, the whole FMA property is owned by Square) and Geno (not gonna happen, but one can wish).
Yeah, sorry for my TL;DR wall-o'-text. To sum it up.... Bahamut, Minwu, Kain, Gilgamesh, Setzer, Tifa, Vincent, Seifer, Vivi, Yuna, Seymour, Balthier, Basch, Lightning, Sora, Riku. WarxePB 02:46, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Where is Astos in your listings?
For what I think: FFI- Red Mage, and Black Mage (Other possiblities are Astos and Vampire, which Won't ever have any chance of appear. FFII- Minwu(I hope) for the Light side, and Leon for the Dark side. FFIII- Doga, or Unne for the Light side, and Xande for the Dark side. FFIV- Kain, and Zemus- For sure. FFV- Faris or Galuf, and Gilgamesh. FFVI- Celes and Shadow, Locke, Sabin or Edgar(there's just too many good ones and only one bad one in VI, so, no other choice, really). FFVII- Tifa, and Vincent. FFVIII- Rinoa and Seifer, who else? FFIX- Propably Vivi, and Beatrix. FFX- Yuna, or Auron, vs Seymour, or Yunalesca. FFXI- Prishe, Selh'teus, and Shadow Lord. FFXII- Ashe, Bash, and Vayne.(Hopefully NOT the Crappiest Crap Ever) FFXIII- Lightning, Noctis, and whoever will be their final enemies. (and someone from Agito too) I hope, that for sequel SE will actually drop the part about Kingdom Hearts characters appearance. Why? Because they suck big time.
I agree with that one, Squall. No Kingdom Hearts characters. And if they ever do, then that should be just Sora, and that's it. I wouldn't mind a Square Dissidia All Out MotherFucking War, though. >w< That would be awesome. Mask no Oni 19:08, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
And hey Squall, I was wondering if I could do another Vincent Valentine moveset... Yours is great, however, I would like to do my variation of it... Is it okay with you? Don't worry, I won't do anything to your Vincent movelist.
Mask no Oni 19:21, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Be my guest. | |||
You know what I think? FFI: Monk (AKA Black Belt) or Red Mage for Light. Astos (there isn't much other choices) for Dark. FFII: MINWU!!! DUH! Dark...I don't really care. Leon is really our best bet. FFIII: ...It took me forever to do the Warrior of Darkness...Xande if there's no other option. Everyone else is next to useless. FFIV: Kain for Light. Zemus makes quite a lot of sense for Dark. FFV: Lenna ('cause I made her a powerful mage) or Faris (If she's a long-range fighter) for Light. Gilgamesh (since his song is here) for Dark. FFVI: I personally don't care about who's left for VI. Edgar for Light (Imagine him with Zidane), Gestahl for Dark. FFVII: Same with VI. Tifa for Light. Rufus for Dark. FFVIII: Have not played VIII. Zell or Irvine for Light. Seifer for Dark. FFIX: Beatrix, Steiner, or Vivi for Light. Garland for Dark, though placing him there may rise problems. FFX: Yuna or Auron for Light. Seymour for Dark. FFXI: Don't care. FFXII: Basch for Light. (Because Vaan is in FFTA2 and Balthier's in FFT.) Vayne for Dark. Others: Ramza, Marche, Luso for Light. Delita, Llednar, Illua for Dark. I too hope that there won't be any KH guys.
And for me:
FFI: Monk/ Red mage/ Black mage. Dark: Evil eye!
FFII: Minwu. Dark: Borgen/ Leon
FFIII: Freelancer (switches to geomancer and dark/mystic knight) Dark: Xande
FFIV: Kain. Dark: Zeromus
FFV: Galuf a.k.a. captain badass (Works like Bartz, but copy's villains moves). Villan: Gilgamesh
FFVI: Locke or Edgar. Dark: Emperor Gestahl
FFVII: Tifa, Vincent or Cid. Dark: Hojo
FFVIII: Qustis. Evil: Edea
FFIX: Vivi, goddamn it! Evil: Erm... Black Waltz?
FFX: Auron or Yuna. Evil: Seymour
FFXI: Character customize? Why not! And why not evil charter customize?
FFXII: Balthier or Basch. Evil: Vayne
FFT: Ramza. Dark: Delita
FFCC: Zack. Dark: Genesis.
I also hope not to see mickey mouse. Jamiemitsu FTW 21:30, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
So... Let's talk about how we're doing with our fandom creations! And comment each other about the movesets we've made. Mask no Oni 03:25, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Very well, I'll kick this off then, I like Jamiemitsu's idea for the Monk , but I disagree with giving the Red Mage Fire Blade and Thunder Blade. I'd rather have those reserved for a Mystic Knight or a character who used them (like Steiner). WarxePB's Bahamut is pretty cool too, as is Pikmin Master's Warrior of Darkness. About time that guy gets some well deserved chance in the spotlight. (Yes, I'm aware of the horrible joke I just made)Mangartist
I too am fond of Jamiemitsu's Monk. But I think Gilgamesh can do better (and by that I mean his FFXII moveset). I've made a whole lot of characters and I still think Ramza's the best one. (Though I might need to alter it a bit to include use of Knuckles.) Regardless, what we've done here is something apectacular.
In my personal opinion as a guy who dreams shit that'll never happen, some Square employees should take a look at this page before starting in a sequel. Gilgamesh, by the way, could indeed use some work. (I'm personally pissed he wasn't a secret character in the game. He was perfect for it.) Mangartist
Well, if there is a sequel, Im pretty sure Kain will make an appearance, from what Nomura said, but Im not sure if Gilgamesh will. He should, though. Oh, and the spellblade thing for red mage was born from lack of ideas. Jamiemitsu FTW 19:37, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Meh, a sequel will come, they can make way too much money of it. Whether Kain will be in idk (sure hope so). Just meant that they'll won't look at this page ;) Mangartist
