Some people resent the idea of this game's release, but I personally can't wait for it. Finally everyone can settle their debates on whether Kefka or Sephiroth is better, or Cloud and Auron (just examples, don't have a flame war) and finally the DNC in the Wiki becomes reality, or atleast close to it, since I doubt they'd have every single character. As many of you may or may not know, there is a storyline that goes to it, and I would like to dig into that too. Anyone else as excited as I am? | |||

It's been confirmed that you can play as the villains, which is a majority of what I'd be using lol. I don't doubt that they'd have updates to it too with more characters, at least they should make it so you can do that. I wish they had it for more than PSP, but thank god for PS3 remote play, where you can project PSP games onto the PS3, but thats beside the point lol | |||

I would be interested in it if it weren't for the goddamn PSP! What is with Square releasing games for consoles no one owns. First it was Crystal Cronicles for the GameCube, a lot of games for mobile phones, and now a bunch of games for the PSP. You apparently can't have a FF game without Cloud these days, so I would assume he's in there. | |||

A lot of people owned the Gamecube. And the reason it's going to be released for the PSP is that Sony went crying to Square Enix complaining nobody owned a PSP and asked them to make an exclusive for it so that idiots like us will buy it. All the good writers seem busy with real projects (like Final Fantasy XIII) and so they stuck a bunch of character together and made a crappy storyline. I'll get it, and so will a lot of people. Then again, I already have a PSP, but that was just to play Tactics, which everyone knows is an awesome game that rivals every main series game storyline wise. -- Drake

@Pablo: I know, Pablo. The thing is, I don't have that much cash(who the hell on this site does?) and I don't enjoy asking my parents for gaming consoles too. So, I'm going to get the stuff for it out of my savings, but the DS still probably costs about $200 here in Singapore, and if 358/2 Days costs more than $100, I'm seriously screwed. Hopefully the price for the DS will have dropped by the time 358/2 Days comes out, so I can afford FF X...if I can still find it here. I just hope two years' worth of savings is enough to cover costs for all three. | |||
@TSD, if you know any people who are good with technology, you can get them to hack your DS. My uncle did...something...to my DS, so now it plays music and games which shouldn't be out in Australia for monthes... A few other reasons to buy a PSP: Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness(for insane SRPG level grinders only. Level cap is 9999), Me and My Katamari, not to mention emulations of all the old FF games. And Crisis Core, which I finished last night. Guess what time I went to sleep at? | |||

@Yuan: Well, my dad could take apart a PC and put it back together again, but I doubt he knows much about gaming consoles. It's surprising, really. Like everyone else without a PSP, I'm quite disappointed in Dissidia being on the PSP. Makes me want one for the sole purpose of getting a copy. I already have a DS and sorta waiting for Days. The DS does have its share of good games, but the only good one comming out sometime soon is Pokemon Platinum, which I don't really need since I already have every single Pokemon in my Pearl Pokedex (although Darkrai and Shaymin were a trade-trade back deal, so I really don't have them. I have one of everyone else) | |||
