Tactics Advance for 30 bucks, Dawn of Souls for 40. Which should I get? Keep in mind I've played neither of them.
BTW, I also got XII last week, just accept Vaan's first hunt. I love the graphics but the battle system is going to take time to get used to. I miss my ATB meters.
Dawn of Souls for $40? That seems a little steep for such an old game. Go with TA, but that's just my bias talking.
My bias tells me that you should buy Dawn of Souls. Neither game in that cartradge is a masterpiece, but it's certainly better than any game with a Law System.

Edit conflict... T-T Tactics Advance. I was in a simmilar situation before (but the pices weren't nearly as high O_o), and bought Dawn of Souls when I already had Origins. Dang me.
You guys want high prices? Same store, FF VII - 129.99. I don't have to heart to tell them that a busride downtown will let me get it at another store for 69.99. I've honestly never seen such an old game go for so much. But FF games always fetch high prices at this store - II and III for the SNES are 70 and 90 bucks.
| |||
O_o that is way to hi i got ff 7 at a garadge sale for 8 bucks and it worked i say go to a dif store.
Actually, VII typically goes for nothing below 60 whenever I've seen it for sale. But yes, I know the store overcharges, especially when you consider I got IV and VI Advance for 30 each.
| |||
why so high?and i got ta for free :) well five finr discount,and my friend still thinks he is geting it back after 8 months
VII, I've seen it for sale less than a dozen times in the last five-seven years or so. It's so expensive because, well, it's VII I guess.
| |||
i guess i would not pay more then 50 dollars though..and for the ta or dawn of souls go ta.that store sounds like its ran by a nerdy ff freak who thinks the games are price less just go to game stop or a garadge sale dude don't trust him
Yeah, some of their prices make no sense, but I'm a long-time customer. I think they price the games based on popularity and rarity.
But, I'm gonna hold off on my decision. Downtown there's like, six or seven little hole-in-the-wall game stores. I can likely find something else besides TA and DoS. All the same, input on which I should buy is welcome.
i would say get a ds for ta2 or rw
I would get ta myself. That was actually my first final fantasy game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Damn, both games are good, FFI is truly a great game, FFII not so much but worth some playing. I liked FFTA but I dunno about you, just buy whichever you like more, maybe FFI and FFII
Hexedmagica - Rathalos: World Tour/All Ass Sword TALK - My companions' feelings have been etched upon this body. I'll change this eternal darkness into light! Heaven and Earth! One who matches the gods! CHOUGINGA GURREN-LAGANN! {{{time}}}
It depends on what you're looking for. If you want stuff that is enjoyable, yet frustrating, get TA. If you want what every other FF is, get DoS
I changed my decision, actually - I went to another store and got VII. I decided to go with a game I knew I would enjoy. But I'll be getting more money in the future, and will see what's available then.

HAHAHAHA!!!I pity u all! A guy who lives in places like me (of Bluerfn) don't even need to choose our game! we can buy both! Games here costs 70cents-5 bucks (sure they'r fakes, but who gives a floating crap, eh?). Here's what to do Drake, book a plane ticket to Indonesia, buy any game u can imagine there (and films too, if u know what I mean...) and KABLAM!! live a beautiful life of endless games!
