So, I figure it's about time to talk about FFAB event coverage, seeing as how the first two events for it just came out in NA. I figure I should probably start off by explaining what exactly these events in particular do, to give you guys an idea of how much they change up the gameplay, and then we can work from there.
The two current events, FFXIII-2 Incursion from Valhalla, and the Winter Holiday Campaign, are somewhat intertwined. The former event has players exploring specific areas with time warps in order to locate Atlas (one of three potential event bosses of the day), and then defeat him. Instead of the normal rewards of treasure and such for a defeated foe, Atlas awards CP to those who injure him, which can be redeemed for special event treasure spheres which contain XIII-2 equipment, which in turn grant a large damage bonus to Atlas (and this mystery enemy which will be fought in a later event to start near the end of December(CaiusCaiusCaiusCaiusCaius)). Atlas also drops Experiopedias, which can be used to enhance the level of the ally that accompanies you on quests (a feature never seen in Brigade before now) and on Brigade battles. There are several potential allies, starting with Lightning, with a new character unlocked to accompany you after the previously unlocked one hits level 20. These characters grant the player exclusive holiday summon stones with each level milestone passed (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 99). And that's about the rundown.
Now, then, I see two potential options with this: one would be to make a page for each individual event, but on the other hand, I suspect there will be a lot, and I don't know if it's necessarily enough information to make individual articles. For the other option, we could do a list of events page, but on the other hand, again, I suspect there will be a lot, and players looking for actually relevant event info will have to do a lot of searching to find what they want. What do you folks think? Jimcloud 05:34, December 19, 2012 (UTC)
- These 'events' don't seem terribly complicated; they don't need an article of their own. It seems simple enough to just make a List of Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade Events and then if it gets too big a List of Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade/2012, List of Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade Events/2013 etc. C A T U S E 05:36, December 19, 2012 (UTC)
