I don't recall but I think it was once mentioned that ideally all weapon and armor would be given that treatment, their own dedicated page. While it may be harder to fill the pages for the earlier games (I wonder if design information for equipment in the Nintendo-era games even exists), the many ports of those titles means more content. So overall, I see no reason why not to implement such a policy and have such dedicated pages, and as you say this information can go on them.}}

{{User:Technobliterator/Talk|18:11, 29 August 2021 (UTC)|Yeah I'm in favor of giving more games pages on individual weapons and abilities where it makes sense to do so. FFIII and FFIV 100% need dedicated pages due to the 2D/3D versions existing. Though IV has simple weapons, the fact that there are two versions of the game means that individual pages are necessary. FFVI could probably benefit from them in being able to explain how to acquire each one, i.e. Some can be obtained from stealing, some from Dragon's Neck, or a mix. Unsure about FFV, but I ''think'' there's enough content regarding which jobs can use which weapon and etc. to justify it there too.

The only mainline games that I think don't really deserve full pages on individual weapons are FFVIII and X (outside of Celestial Weapons). VIII because the weapons in that game are so insignificant (better to make pages on items since they have so many uses in that game), and X because the weapon isn't important, only the auto-abilities are (which do need pages). Not sure about I and II, and you can ''maybe'' forego XV.}}

Yes, please do, a lot of those pages have a heck of a time loading. It also makes editing the entire page a hassle, due to all the stuff to navigate through and the editor begins to even lag at times. It's why I avoid those pages personally. Keep them on their main mobile/spin-off list pages for the most part.

I would also like to suggest maybe place them in a "Other appearances" section if said weapon or ability already has a unique page for entry weapon appearances. A lot of the weapon and ability pages are now even becoming harder to load and edit due to the lag (e.g: Ragnorok, Ultima, Ultima, Blizzard). Would help alleviate some of loading if we removed a lot of the images from Airborne Brigade, Record Keeper, and Dissidia Opemnia from these pages. I did something like that with the Ultima page for FFII Can I remove those Ultima (II) mobile game images from the main Ultima page since they're on the new page? >~>. --Miphares (talk) 23:02, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
