Ok, so after the wiki has decided to make the new ability templates and whatnot (of which needs massively cleaned up and new articles made apparently), looking at some articles (mainly the FFT articles such as Arts of War and Fundaments, what do we want to do with these pages? Do we want to copy/paste the ability tables from the job pages to these (which would be redundant therefore to have 2 pages listing the same exact information like that, especially if they're only in one game but...)? Or what do we want to do with them?
The sensible thing would be to move them to their own page, and then on the job page have
===[skillset]=== {{main|[skillset]}} [paragraph about the purpose, functionality, and features of the skillset and interesting information about its skills]
--Basically everything that isn't just a list and the gritty numbered details. Skillsets are built around skills with similar ideas, so those ideas are conveyed in the paragraph. 79.69.198.170 21:44, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
Well then, I'll test this with Arts of War for FFT and see if that's the way to handle it. Gimme a few.
Alright, test over. Feel free to revert or change anything to at least get the flow going here. The only issue here is that the Knight page now looks bare without the skillset table being there...
I wouldn't say it's bare, there's plenty of information, then if user's want to look at specific details like that skillset then they have the links to go there. It's a nice portal.
I agree with this. I'd wait for others to weigh in before we do this everywhere though. 79.69.198.170 21:58, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
Agreed with moving them to their own pages, if they do indeed have abilities defined under a skillset. I always did find it odd the Tactics job pages list abilities on the pages rather than give those abilities their own articles. Doreiku Kuroofangu 03:24, February 9, 2013 (UTC)
