There's an 8bit Theatre Wiki under Wikia that is abandoned for some time now. I seriously think we should consider taking it for ourselves and start building and improving it up. Then we affiliate and link to each other.

I'm no fan of 8bit, but I'm sure most here are. What do you people think? —^BLUER一番。 09:28, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

I say takeover. I don't know if I'm a big enough fan to contribute, but it would be handy to have. Also, it could be a nice light-hearted wiki (silly image captions and such), since the series it's on isn't exactly serious. Diablocon 13:05, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I do understand this idea: humorous captions and statements, lax on the style and all - those things that I've seen something like Transformers Wiki do. We might as well start the takeover machine running and begin the process. I contacted the admin, but so far no reply. Check with wikia staff too, I'm sure most of us would be glad to manage the wiki as administrator (not me. I'm no fan of 8bitTheater) —^BLUER一番。 14:14, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

I've revised my initial opinion and now believe that a take-over was indeed the best of ideas. But running it? I wouldn't have the time :S Anyway, when do we start part 2 of our megalomaniacal plan of conquest of all things Square? Faethin^{verba volant} 14:31, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Since this wiki is slowly devouring all the Square things into our hungry cabal, couldn't we eventually all become one giant wiki blob and then eat all of Wikia? And then the WORLD? --BlueHighwind 20:10, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Cool, we can start moving 8bit articles there, which clears up the issue of how expansive our 8bit character articles should be. (Shockingly), like Faethin, I don't think I would be able to run the wiki; I'd ratehr contribute here. That's good to hear, ScatheMote. At least one person to oversee administrative policies and designs would be enough for it - the better things of being the admin makes you in charge of the wiki design. In any case, we should also start revising our 8bit Theater coverage. For one, EVERYTHING we have covered for the fancomic would redirected to its respective Article. Also, the wiki should be linked at the main page "Links and Affiliates" as well as the article itself.

And at the wiki, we'll have to start the design process. How should the wiki handle content and stuff? That's one of the questions we should contemplate. —^BLUER一番。 12:31, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

We will have to remove all See Also's directing to 8-Bit characters; and where-ever else directs to 8-Bit right? (So we just redirect all the pages to 8-Bit and check the links)  I Lion Heart I 16:54, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

I'd love to see another wiki in the same vein of the TF wiki, goofy comments with a slightly sarcastic tone, which in my opinion would fit perfectly with the tone of the comic. would it be possible to get Brian Clevinger involed somehow? FinalFighterA+

Brian is too busy to get involved with Wikis, as he's stated somewhere. And I think a serious Wiki based on 8-Bit would be a bad move. Diablocon 19:42, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

I know a guy that might be able to help with the global domination idea, AND the 8bit theater wiki, but he is usually busy and not a wikian. I could ask him to help, but IDK if he'll join in on this or not. Gerdat14
