I think this new section makes major spoilers unavoidable and it probably should either not exist or not be at the top of every article with an image attached. If you go to the Auron page, you'll immediately see a link to Jecht with Braska's Final Aeon as the image. If you go to the page Exdeath, you'll immediately see what Neo Exdeath looks like. This kind of makes the spoiler warnings halfway into the articles useless and makes the Wiki a lot more dangerous to visit if you're trying to only read about topics you're familiar with while avoiding spoilers. 184.108.40.206 22:41, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
- If you make an account and log in, you will not see "others also viewed..." bits (or ads on articles). You will see "page tools" and "recently edited" instead.
- There's nothing we can do about the images, it's an algorithm that picks whatever I guess.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 07:18, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- In that case, it'd probably be better abolish or relocate this section. Most editors may be signed in, but most readers probably aren't and they're the ones who are most likely to be spoiled by this section. 220.127.116.11 23:14, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
That is a default part of the skin, and there's no feature to disable it, so we're not allowed to touch it. And yeah, it is a serious problem as it currently stands. I'm trying to poke Fandom staff about how to influence whatever algorithm they're using here, and also just complain about it in general, but other than that there's not much wiki staff can do here. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 02:56, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
