Battle[]

Flyverns are ridden by Dragoniers. If the Dragonier is defeated, the whole Flyvern unit is considered defeated. Flyverns fly around in the sky and attack with a strong charge attack that rumbles the earth in a straight line from the dragon. There is a Breaksight strike chance during their swooping attack. If hit with Breaksight they fall to the ground and are stunned for a bit.

When the Flyvern lands they first do a big inhale, sucking any nearby enemies toward them, and then unleash a strong fireball.

Strategy[]

Players should dodge the Flyvern's attacks and go for the Breaksight strike chance when they are swooping with a ranged cadet. When the Flyvern lands its Dragonier can be attacked; it is usually easier to defeat these units by concentrating on the rider.

Etymology[]

Flyvern is a portmanteau of "fly" and "wyvern." A wyvern is a medieval European mythological winged creature with a dragon's head, reptilian body, two legs (sometimes none), and a barbed tail. They appear in many crests of Europe's ancient families, symbolizing strength. The word wyvern comes from wivere, which means serpent.
